Who is Christian Honl?
Christian Honl grew up in Astoria, Oregon, where service to others was part of daily life. His father was a local doctor, and his mother a teacher. Together they taught him the value of hard work, integrity, and giving back to the community.
After earning his engineering degree from the University of Washington, Christian built a 27-year career at Intel where he spent 15 years as a Director of Engineering and 5 years as a Director of Marketing, where he helped shape the roadmap for the future of laptops used around the world. Beyond his professional success, Christian was known as a mentor, helping younger engineers and professionals grow and thrive in their careers.
When Christian retired from Intel, he and his wife, Tracy, returned home to Astoria, the community that shaped his values. Together, they are deeply rooted in the North Coast and committed to strengthening it for the next generation.
Today, Christian serves on the Board of Directors for the Clatsop Care Center Health District, continuing his lifelong focus on community well-being. His blend of local roots, global leadership experience, and commitment to service uniquely prepare him to represent House District 32 in Salem.
A lifelong Republican, Christian is running for the Oregon House of Representatives with a simple mission: to put the North Coast first — with safe streets, affordable living, and accountable government.
